The Top 15 Countries With The Best Quality of Life

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) recently released its 2016 Better Life Index of countries with the best quality of life. In order to come to an official ranking the organization studied 34 countries across 11 parameters of well-being, including work-life balance, financial wealth, safety, education, and environmental quality.

15. Austria

Voter turnout, a measure of citizens’ participation in the political process, was 75% during Austria’s most recent elections, higher than the OECD average of 68%.
